The Manager of Trade Sales Account Operations will report directly to the Director of Trade Sales Account Operations and will support a team of Trade Account Executives with sales related operational activities across BMS Trade customers. The successful candidate must have strong working knowledge of the US pharmaceutical distribution channel as related to Specialty and Non-Specialty products with understanding of existing market customers. This individual must possess the ability to work across a broad matrix team and have developed system and analytical skills, deep knowledge of BMS order to cash processes, and the ability to assess trade inventory and sales data. In working with the broader Trade Sales team, the individual should have the ability to recognize trends in data and see innovation opportunity to enhance operational efficiency for both BMS and Trade Customers (wholesalers, distributors, pharmacy - retail, specialty, others as required).

Core responsibilities of this position include:


Trade inventory data reporting, sales out analysis and associated ad-hoc assessment
Development and dissemination of all trade customer communications
Support the analysis, development and implementation of trade customer Distribution/Inventory Management Agreements and other purchase arrangement Agreements
Management of all Trade Operations SOPs
Work collaboratively with internal matrix teams including Customer Service Operations, Brand Teams, Finance, Contract Operations, etc. and external customers in support of daily operations and BMS business model evolution in support of Specialty portfolio
Support trade launch plans and lead communications of plan internally and externally with customers;
Working closely with Trade Account Executives and internal/external matrix teams, facilitate resolution of operational issues including, but not limited to trade inventory levels, out-of-stock situations, channel data analysis, returns and product recalls


Qualifications:


BS/BA or equivalent required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years operations experience including customer service/facing responsibility with pharmaceutical trade customer preferred.
Sales reporting and analysis experience with demonstrated analytical skills and development of key business insights.
Strong data management capability with understanding, use and application of internal and external data sets/systems: SAP/BW, OtC processes, ValueCentric and Integrichain.
Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
