Morgan and Chase brands.      Wholesale Credit Risk Management (WCR) is responsible for lending activities and other counterparty related credit exposures. The group is based on Plano, TX, and the teams are aligned by industry. Wholesale Credit Risk Managers lead the client credit relationship in partnership with Coverage and Product business colleagues    The Risk Team manages exposure to a primarily investment-grade client base consisting of Public Finance and Not-For-Profit clients, including the US Government and Multi-lateral entities.  Responsibilities include diligence, structuring, approval, risk grading, and the on-going monitoring and management of a diverse and complex portfolio of lending relationships and other credit exposures, including derivatives.  The VP is expected to effectively manage an industry focused team and develop the analytical skills of juniors to assess the credit worthiness of counterparties.    Responsibilities: Lead an industry focused team of other VPs, associates and analystsManage the daily risk demands of a portfolio of clients, evaluating and executing on a variety of transactions for Public Finance and Not-For-Profit entitiesGet involved in transactions including discussions with bankers, negotiating of legal documentation, setup of facilities, coordinating with middle office teams and ongoing monitoring of clients post transaction approval.Build strong relationships and maintain open communication channels with colleagues across the firm, including Bankers, Operations, Legal, Middle Office, Finance, etc.  Track the clients on an ongoing basis and update key stakeholders on key developments with regards to clients or industry and potential impact on credit ratingKeep abreast of changing legislation, governmental actions and economic trends that impact US Government, Multilateral and Municipal and Not-For-Profit sectors and clients.Train, develop, and work with analysts to review new proposals and maintain updated credit assessments on a large portfolio of existing clientsProvide leadership and input into key projects across the department, and contribute to process and efficiency improvement initiatives of the Credit organization    ','!*!Qualifications: 5–7 years professional work experience in financial services (commercial banking or similar) Possesses a solid understanding of the Public Finance, Municipal and Not-For-Profit markets, products and structures Proficiency with derivative products and documentation (including ISDA and CSA) Expertise in loan structuring and documentation including trade finance is essential Strong communication skills — both oral and written Ability to effectively present analysis and interact with key stakeholders Demonstrated client skills, including due diligence and negotiation Deadline orientation; close attention to detail and accuracy; ability to perform under pressure Ability to work proactively & independently as well as in a team environment Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across lines of business Track record of training and developing junior talent   ','JPMorgan Chase is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer Disability/Veteran.','Risk','US-TX-Plano-Legacy West B / 59635','','CORPORATE SECTOR','Full-time','Standard','Day Job','','JPMorgan Chase','JPMorgan Chase','Wholesale Credit Risk – North America Public Finance and Not-for-Profits – Vice President
