Aon is looking for a Financial Data & Reporting Manager Aon’s Digital Client Solutions Finance team is looking for a Financial Data and Reporting Manager. This senior technical resource to work with our Finance, Technology, and Business groups to create insightful financial reporting and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will understand the worlds of Finance users, front-end sales/service, and development to make connections across functions. Responsibilities Include:Maintain current set of excel-based reports that are sourced from multiple systems until they can be retired (Salesforce, Looker, Stripe/PayPal, Applied Epic, etc.). Enhance and automate legacy reporting for improved reliability and effectiveness, developing comprehensive management dashboards for key metrics and financials.Create ad-hoc financial reporting as needed from different systems, in partnership with teams in other areas such as Business Intelligence, Controllership, and Operations.Test quality of data throughout platform migrations and model changes. Establish methodologies to ensure financial data integrity and flag issues where they may exist. Design tests to be performed by domain experts (BI) and ultimately sign-off on data quality.Proactively identify and suggest steps to remediate errors that may occur. Uncover root causes and work to rectify via process improvement.Demonstrate understanding of relational database concepts and navigate within large and complex dataAbility to effectively assimilate, transform, and summarize complex datasets, and present appropriate findings for solutions. Reporting examples include: revenue reporting, expense reporting, staff planning, payables/receivables reporting, time/cost modellingCoordinate with key stakeholder groups regarding their financial data needs, including Finance, Data/BI team, and Sales Operations.
