We are looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Product Portfolio Manager dedicated to the Splunk Security and Splunk products specializations. This position reports into the Global Director of Technical Enablement. Role:To grow the demand for Splunk in the market through education and ensure customers, partners and Splunkers can effectively build their capability to deliver outcomes with Splunk, this role will ensure that the Splunk technical field organization (Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success Managers, and Technical Support), partner and customer ecosystem have the technical knowledge and skills needed. By demonstrating deep technical background and knowledge of the roles they perform and how to effectively enable them, this role will provide strategic vision and execute tactically to help us expand, evolve, modernize, and measure the impact of our technical enablement programs. This is a high-energy position in a global company that requires someone who is quick to pick up new skills and can work well with colleagues and customers in different geos, organizations, and teams. This role will drive our technical enablement with learning paths and specializations aligned to the corporate strategy: lead with security, accelerate observability and extend the platform portfolio.Responsibilities:Serve as first point of contact for technical enablement for cross-functional leaders within Splunk and our Partner network for our Splunk Security and Specialization learning paths.Define a holistic enablement strategy, process, and prioritized roadmap for the corresponding product areas u2013 ensuring enablement programs, and specialization learning maps aligned to product roadmaps, launches, and incremental releases, stakeholder needs, business opportunity and goals.Build an operating framework of measures and KPIu2019s to demonstrate the execution and business impact of the enablement strategyOwn the success and execution of technical enablement across phased activities (e.g., design, development, delivery, evaluation) and life cycle of relevance u2013 from onboarding to continuous learning (e.g., quarterly enablement plans).Analyze business and learner performance metrics to inform enablement strategy and to continuously improve quality of content, format, and delivery worldwideCollaborate closely with others Product Portfolio Managers for Security, Observability and Platform for alignment and consistency.Become the expert of the end-to-end learning paths that include all products, and all personas, ensuring consistency learner experience, upskill of capabilities, and performance improvement.Participate in business/product group-aligned staff meetings and interlocks to gather enablement requirements and feedback and to present quarterly enablement business reviewsEvangelize, communicate and market enablement programs and initiatives through learning maps, Slack, portal updates, newsletters, quarterly webcasts, etc.Requirements:5 years of experience delivering and creating technical training programs at Enterprise/SaaS companiesUnderstand the customer facing technical ecosystem including the diverse enablement needs of various functions like presales, delivery, support, and partnersKnowledge of Splunk, monitoring, networking, and security; Enterprise software and Cloud technologiesProven ability to influence and closely partner with:Product Management and Engineering to align product releases with content updates and technical enablement deliveryCustomer Success and Sales Engineering Field Leadership to ensure our programs are meeting the needs of our professional services, sales engineers, and technical support engineers.Subject Matter Experts and Content developers to create instructionally sound, engaging, and interactive technical enablement contentGlobal Field Enablement team members who are creating sales enablement and product-based learning experiencesEducation and Certification teams for Accreditation and Learning Paths developmentProven ability to work independently with a u201Cmake it happenu201D attitude; able to operate and execute in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity; problem solver and quick learnerExperience with education technology such as learning management systems, sales enablement platforms, video services, content development tools, and virtual delivery platformsEducation: Bachelors' degree in a technical field.Note: Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles.
