POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Senior Business Analyst will provide support for all the North America company store team by providing accurate and timely reports.  Some of the reporting will be done weekly or monthly and other reports will be ad hoc where the senior business analyst will create reports for business needs.

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing critical support to both Senior Management and Divisional Planning for the elaboration of Brand Strategies that highly impact business results and will assist in cross-brands special projects. The Analyst is also responsible for fostering productive cross-functional relationships with internal/external partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

• Accountable for the strategic data analysis of North America Retail across merchandising, planning, marketing, and regional performance
• Create, maintain and produce accurate management–level standard reporting using Excel, Word and appropriate retail systems
• Build and develop key strategic framework for cross functional teams to drive power plan
• Provide fact-based performance analysis and insight across divisions/tiers/regions, both qualitative and quantitative, drawing conclusions and actionable recommendations, and leading implementation
• Manage the pulling of business analysis, with data across divisions and draw relevant and action oriented conclusions, to be shared with Company’s senior management
• Provide ad-hoc analysis on trends, insight on business. Have the ability to recognize business callouts and begin to effectively solve them without being prompt by management
• Participate and drive strategic decisions based on real time KPI’s to identify and implement performance based improvements and new business strategy
• Build the Retail Calendar [key milestones, financial goals, key marketing initiatives, & operational impacts] pre-season and manage in-season which is used cross-functionally by merchandising, marketing, store operations & CRM
• Collaborate with EVP of Planning, Finance, & divisional President in development of the fiscal budgets by providing new analysis and recaps to support the budgets.  Also will be managing the framework in setting up the annual budgets
• Build and drive the weekly WBR and monthly PVH management slides for business in Company Stores
• Manage daily sales plans based on latest re-estimate to communicate to stores for their budgets each month
• Provide corporate with data for the Board of Director presentations
• Provide CK CEO with daily, weekly and monthly store KPI’s for the CK Global Calls
• Collaborate with CK Global Strategy team by managing retail store strategy and presentations
• Provide weekly data driven performance updates on CKNA stores & Ecom to be used in the CK Global Performance Report sent to PVH C-Suite
• Create delivery selling reports down to the division and department level, and provide daily in depth analysis to help leadership track product and inventory initiatives
• Provide Marketing with sales and KPI analysis as well as historical data to help them make more educated decisions when attributing budget to marketing initiatives at the store and center level
• Compile and organize complex data sets provided by licensees down to the department level in order to analyze major story lines between our business and external partners
• Build complex excel models to track major product launches [Ex: Retail Exclusives & CK One]
• Perform monthly OTB Topline analysis through compiling, sorting, and organizing large data sets
• Provide high level store analysis and identify major story lines and trends to be reviewed by leadership prior to the Quarterly Earnings Call
• Manage the CK Fiscal Calendar that displays major holidays and Y-O-Y shifts within NA as well as the major International Credit Card Countries
• Assist the Finance and Real Estate team through providing historical sales and traffic data to support store footprint and rent decisions
• Perform complex internal and external data analysis to identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve performance, and help the team to make more efficient and effective decisions

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:        

• 3-5+ years of experience in Finance\Retail Planning or Allocation        

Education:          

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Economics

Skills: 

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• High Level of Retail Math Skills
• Experience in presenting to senior management
• Knowledge of planning and allocation functions
• Ability to handle complex projects and problems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Compiles historical information for Senior Management/Divisional Planning Leads in order to inform their budgetary decisions
• Creates framework for the fiscal budgets by providing 1st pass with factual recaps supporting the framework

• Makes strategic recommendations to Senior Management on how to positively impact business results
