Regional Accountant

Summary:
Addison Group has partnered with an international manufacturer with $1B in annual revenues on the search for an Accountant. This position will support the accounting for two of their plant locations in Ohio that account for $250MM in annual revenues.
The Accountant will report to the Regional Controller on a team of four and will be instrumental in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounting cycle. This is a great opportunity to join the subsidiary of an international conglomerate that will offers opportunity to grow internally and among their sister companies.
Responsibilities:
Support the accounting close by preparing monthly journal entries and performing account reconciliations
Oversee fixed assets accounting
Assist Controller in the preparation of monthly financials, which includes preparing supporting documentation and performing financial statement variance analysis
Own the Blackline reconciliation process as well as Concur expense report audits
Provide documentation to support internal and external audit efforts
Backup for AP and AR
Other projects as assigned, including an upcoming system implementation
Requirements:
Completed undergraduate degree with a major in accounting, finance or related areas
1 years of post-collegiate accounting experience
Tech-savvy with a profiency in Microsoft Excel
Team-first mentality with the ability to build cross-functional relationships
Eagerness to learn and be challenged
