GENERAL SUMMARY
The Senior Merch Analyst, Camuto Reporting & Analytics is a leader within the reporting organization responsible for supporting the Camuto Wholesale, Retail, and Drop Ship businesses thru consistent, accurate, and timely reporting, along with in depth analysis. This role works with the DBI MP&A team to provide projections, inventory rolls, and topside recommendations to increase the profitability of the Camuto O&L brands, as well as the private brands.
REPORTS TO: Manager, Camuto Reporting and Analytics
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supports the sales team by distributing weekly reporting and hindsight reporting to the style and store level, across multiple brands and multiple accounts
• Supports the sales and design teams by creating and distributing best seller and worst seller reporting
• Works collaboratively to create new reporting to support business necessities and curiosities to drive business results thru increased sales, decreased close outs and topside inventory management.
• Participates in pre-season strategy meetings and market meetings
• Analyzes and communicates the impacts of mark down, close out, and sell off decisions to MP&A leadership
• Formulates solution minded recommendations through risk and opportunity assessment of their categories of business.
• Creates monthly inventory rolls by segment of the business and by brand to identify opportunities for action to drive the business thru receipt changes, MD strategy, etc.
• Leads training and provides mentorship through engagement in onboarding process; invests the time and energy to facilitate connections. Shares expertise and influence across organization
• Communicates effectively to a wide variety of audiences to drive results.
• Displays leadership through conducting efficient and action driven meetings, presenting in meetings, supports other cross functional teams on driving company strategies.
• Exemplifies leadership; anticipates and drives change with growth mindset.
• Supports the MP&A, Sales, and Design teams with ad hoc analysis
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Experience in Merchandise Analytics, Central Planning, Merchandise Planning, and/or Assortment Planning
• Knowledge of merchandise and/or purchase order management systems required, experience with JDA, Jesta Microstrategy, EDI desired. Fluency in Microsoft products required.
• Strong financial acumen and statistical/analytical skills including data retrieval, organization, presentation, and summary skills.
• Takes initiative to make recommendations based on analysis without being asked.
• Curiosity and willingness to influence to identify and resolve business and system issues.
• Seeks out opportunities to grow thru new assignments/projects and exposure to new experiences
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business and technical management
• Highly motivated with excellent planning and follow-up skills, including the ability to meet aggressive deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a corporate retail environment; 3 years in planning or financial analysis role preferred
• 7+ years' experience in Microsoft Office including MS Access
EDUCATION:
• BA or BS in Business, Finance, or related field
