Products Group (SPG) Middle Office – Mortgage Finance Operations provides
financing for clients related to originated and seasoned mortgage loans. SPG MO provides controlled and efficient
Middle Office and Operational support for a variety of complex products
originated by our business partners. We work closely with Clients,
Trustees, and Front/Middle Office partners to deliver services that are client
focused and of high quality. The business is The SPG Middle Office –
Buenos Aires provides support for the following products:
Mortgage Finance
(Warehouse Financing)
ABS Special Opportunities
(Asset Backed Financing)
CMBS (Commercial
Mortgages)
TALF (and other special
government initiated programs)
The
Securities Processing hub in Buenos Aires is being established to support our
clients in the Western Hemisphere in the same time zone, working alongside
the other hub locations in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
Key
Responsibilities:
Review of loans pledged as
collateral, preparation and analysis of borrowing base calculations,
processing of advance and pay down requests, maintenance of deal terms
in loan and collateral systems
Update loan systems (LoanIQ)
and collateral systems (MBWS/Latitude) timely with client activityIdentify, research, report
and resolve loan breaks in daily/weekly/monthly intervals.
Improve, enhance or design
new break reports as necessary to control business or regulatory risk.
Prepare and analyze
complex management reporting data and/or related queries.
Resolve routine exceptions
regarding ineligible loans, failed sub limits, margin calls, and
documentary exceptions with Clients and Front Office partners.
Perform various reconciliations
and reporting at deal and business level.
Ensure compliance with
audit, control and quality requirements.
Adhere to defined policies
and procedures to ensure a controlled environment.
Communicate with Front
Office, Trustees, Clients and other internal departments to support
clients, resolve issues and respond to inquiries.
Participate in special
projects and department/bank initiatives as necessary.
Utilize the ABSolute
system to support shadow booking of special programs (i.e. TALF); provide
reporting, answer client questions, and facilitate cash flows related to
these programs.
