Aon is looking for a Senior Investment Consultant in Norwalk, CT  Responsibilities: A Senior Consultant leads all aspects of client deliverables and is responsible for interfacing with other teams within U.S. Investment ConsultingExhibits outstanding knowledge of finance and investment theory and practice, as well as U.S. Investment Consulting’s positions, and the ability to apply this knowledge to client and practice/research area workDemonstrates an excellent understanding of the client’s circumstancesExhibits the ability to process complex client needs and design creative solutionsActs as senior support on large clients taking partial ownership for the relationshipExhibits the ability to lead smaller, less complex client relationships and/or serve as secondary consultant on smaller, less complex client relationshipsDemonstrates ability to lead complex/challenging client meetings, if requiredMaintains responsibility for a small portfolio of clientsDemonstrates clear and proven client relationship management skillsProvides contribution to sales efforts – completion of RFP/proposals, assembling customized prospect presentations, etc.Is actively involved in continuing personal and professional development and promoting junior colleagues’ developmentDevelops subject matter expertise across one or more areas and is perceived as subject matter expert by colleaguesFunctions collaboratively with the local leadership teamHas excellent relationships with specialist teams, other client teams, and different business units within U.S. Investment ConsultingIdentifies and develops opportunities on client accounts, increasing the scope of existing projects and servicesActively involved in sales process, including participating and presenting at finalist meetings, hosting onsite meetings with prospects, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant area (e.g., business, finance, economics)Advanced degree and/or CFA and/or CAIA credential(s)) are preferred8 years of investment space related experienceOutstanding technical and analytical skillsAccuracy and attention to detailExpert level understanding of finance theory and investmentsAdvanced writing and communication skillsClear and proven client relationship management skills  How we support our colleagues  In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
