The Business Development and Partnerships (BDP) team is responsible for assessing the landscape and competitive threats against internal strategies / capabilities to identify potential inorganic growth opportunities for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Health. The resulting market scan and M&A pipeline will be continuously reassessed to ensure alignment with corporate and business strategic objectives. In support of a developing a robust viewpoint on the market and M&A pipeline, the BDP team is expected to develop and maintain key external relationships, including those with investors, potential targets, potential strategic partners, and to leverage the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Enterprise relationships with investment banks with healthcare domain expertise. The BDP team is also responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic partnerships that can unlock and accelerate inorganic opportunities. The BDP team serves as the initial point of contact for external relationship building with the startup community, venture capital firms, private equity groups, and potential strategic partners.

The Manager, Business Development and Partnerships will be responsible for supporting the broader BDP team with projects, standardizing processes to manage intake and external outreach, and management of business relationships. This role will also be responsible for market landscaping and proactively gathering/analyzing healthcare market segment intelligence to be leveraged in determining potential growth opportunities for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Health. This role will work closely with and in support of the BDP team, as well as the Health Strategy team and cross-functional partners across Health and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. What will you do?
Market landscaping & analysis for potential growth opportunities for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Health
Proactively leads healthcare market segment intelligence through gathering and synthesizing relevant healthcare market data
Develops and manages competitor/partner company landscape mapping, including new technology offerings, acquisitions/spinouts, funding, and capital infusions
Manages and organizes ongoing database of screened companies
Compiles relevant insights on target companies, including helping to build value thesis, and creating company profiles to be leveraged in presentations to leadership and key stakeholders
Ongoing analysis of market size, growth rates, catalysts, and barriers to market growth
Synthesize data and identify themes for recommendations that inform decision-making regarding business development & partnerships strategy
Support Business Development & Partnerships Team
Support both intake and external outreach process to build relationships within the Healthcare industry
Create and manage new relationships within the Healthcare ecosystem
Create structure around how we engage with prospective external partners including process, roles and responsibilities within the team, how we close on relationships, etc.
Stay abreast of key developments in our internal environment and businesses and the external landscape to understand trends, and priorities to help calibrate and orient work
Minimum Requirements:
5 years of experience working in Healthcare technology or Healthcare consulting
2 years of experience dissecting markets by segments and running market / competitor analysis
Understanding of healthcare industry market landscape and dynamics
Preferred Qualifications:
Consulting experience or Investment Banking/Private Equity/Venture Capital experience
Experience building partnerships and an ability to influence without authority
