This Associate Financial Analyst position will be involved with various financial functions such as cost estimating, proposal reviews, BOE evaluations and financial analysis in a professional team environment. This position reviews complex financial data received from staff for inclusion in proposal development; review with estimating team members, proposal team members, and senior management; and submission to external customers.
Roles and Responsibilities include the following:
Lead pricing responsibilities for proposals
Perform financial and proposal analysis
Support the development of cost estimates and BOEs for proposals, as well as advise functional engineering estimators about cost issues and information to support their estimating and BOE efforts
Evaluate all cost estimates, BOEs, and pricing to ensure adequacy, completeness (to RAM matrix) and compliance to regulations (Disclosure Statement, CAS, FAR, Truthful Cost or Pricing Data)
Synthesize and analyze large quantities of data to create useful information and concise analysis
Maintain documentation supporting financial estimates used in the proposal process
Ensure management understanding of estimating and bidding issues
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and DFAR/FAR government regulations
Balance multiple projects and prioritize effectively to meet strict deadlines
**Basic Qualifications:**
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management (or a related field) from an accredited institution with at least 6 months of related experience
Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to obtain a security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Experience collaborating with technical functions or a project/program.
Operational knowledge of manufacturing, engineering and business environments.
Salary Range: $48,600.00 - $73,000.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
