Description

The Supply Chain Professional 2 reports through Humana's Pharmacy Supply Chain and performs DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act) compliance related tasks in support of Humana's Pharmacy inventory receiving operations. This person will need to be able to work independently, cross-functionally and use different systems or tools to communicate with Pharmacy Operations teams, Professional Practice and Humana suppliers in performance of the role. This person will need to complete varied research and provide timely responses to inquiries with recommendations based upon the information retrieved from available resources.

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Professional 2 creates integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.


Monitor/Review incoming communications in order to provide timely appropriate response/direction.
Stay up to date/informed on DSCSA requirements and Humana internal procedures
Conducts independent research and provides input on future DSCSA milestones.
Manage/assist with DSCSA document retention
Support the Supply Chain team(s) with new supplier onboarding activities
Participate in Quarterly audits to include DSCSA compliance and Humana user Access to supplier websites.
Perform yearly supplier licensing audit/verifications.
Other functions as needed by supported business segments.


Required Qualifications


Intermediate Proficiency in MS Excel (proficient in vlookups/pivot tables/etc... )
Proficiency with MS Outlook/Teams
2 years Inventory Planning, Pharmacy or Supply Chain Work Experience
Excellent communication and problem solving skills


Preferred Qualifications


Prior Drug Supply Chain Security Act experience/Knowledge
Elite IMS experience
TraceLink or similar 3Pl Compliance software experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Pharmacy or Related Field
