Senior Financial Systems Analyst','Full-time','Finance','Day','Day','80','80','None','None','COLORADO-ENGLEWOOD-DENVER INVERNESS','','!*!This position is primarily responsible for maintenance, development life cycle, and on going training of the FISA Financial Systems application platform, including Oracle and Cognos products. This position works closely with all National and MBOs, providing financial information necessary to support critical decisions within the CHI organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary lead for maintaining Oracle and Cognos applications platform
Provide internal technical support for CHI users and be a liaison with software vendor for resolution of application and user specific issues across diverse desktop environment;
Maintain internal control, security and data integrity within the system;
Work closely with internal and external resources to creatively problem solve and coordinate issue resolution;
Coordinate closely with administrators of other systems, particularly integrated systems, to continuously ensure consistency and accuracy of data.
Design and build reporting and analytic capabilities across the CHI organization utilizing Oracle Hyperion Smartview, Hyperion Reports Studio, Hyperion Web and Cognos analysis.
Manage development lifecycle for small to medium size projects that will utilize these application platforms. This includes:
Manage and prioritize business requirements from appropriate stakeholders.
Design and build new applications leveraging product and industry standards.
Develop efficient and reliable data and metadata integration across applications and key CHI enterprise applications.
Assure quality of design and integrity of data based on comprehensive testing of solution and attention to detail.
Plan and execute delivery and rollout of new solutions throughout organization
Plan and monitor backup and recovery process of applications maintaining high system availability for the organization. This includes creating and maintaining separate development environment for building and testing new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
Act as liaison and coach to MBOs and CHI national teams to promote efficient use of the applications and resulting analytic possibilities while continually learning and responding to change within the organization.
Maintain excellent communication with all levels of management, be responsive to customers, and provide appropriate mentoring, training and cross-training to other team members.
Build and maintain system documentation and training materials to create additional capabilities throughout the organization.
Support a responsive but controlled change management process for each application minimizing application outages and data integrity issues. This will include carefully planning migrations of changes from a development environment to a production environment.
Assist leadership in tracking progress, prioritizing work, developing time estimates and work plans. This includes communication of status and notifies manager of issues that impact productivity or ability to meet expectations.

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or health-related field required.
Experience (required and preferred):
Minimum 5 experience in accounting, auditing and/or financial reporting required.
Extensive experience with financial systems required.
Minimum knowledge of IT infrastructure and terminology required.
