Summary: This position supports the continuous cycle of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analyzing for capital spending and project expense. The position will assist Tyson Fresh Meats Operations group in the development and maintenance of Long-Range Capital Plan & Annual Capital Budget by working closely with Finance & Engineering. The position will help ensure project scope, provide project cost forecasting/tracking/analysis and lead monthly Fresh Meats Capital meeting. The position also will complete quarterly CIP review, assist in annual Cost Center budgeting process and provide support for ad hoc requests. The ideal candidate is someone who has previous experience operating within a medium to large sized manufacturing company. The position will report to Senior Group Controller of Finance & Accounting.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree; preferably in Finance or Accounting. CMA, CPA or MBA preferred.
Experience: 5 plus years of relevant experience with proficient knowledge of accounting principles.
Computer Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. SAP experience preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, training, presentation and communication skills required.
Special Skills: Strong project management and analytical skills required.
Travel: 1 to 5 domestic trips a year.
