Risk Consultant - Business Valuation

Aon is looking for a Risk Consultant  We are currently recruiting a high performing senior appraiser for an associate director role primarily in the Industrial Sector. The successful candidate can be located anywhere in the United States in close proximity to a major airport. You will report to the Managing Director of the practice. WHAT YOU WILL DO In collaboration with the Director, you will provide Appraisal Reports (value estimates) and Insurance Appraisals (cost estimates), on a wide variety of industrial type buildings and machinery and equipment in locations across the United States and on occasion globally. Through site inspections, research, expert analysis and collaboration, you will develop a solid and defensible rationale for the final value assigned to a property. You will also provide project oversight and leadership. You will facilitate the work activities of others, train and coach junior and mid-level staff, and perform quality control reviews of reports. The role requires regional and national travel and may require occasional global travel. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE You are proactive, with a desire to drive results and exceed goals. You are self-directed and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You enjoy building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You have strong leadership skills and enjoy training and mentoring others. You are able and willing to travel regionally, nationally and globally and have a valid passport and valid driver’s license. You have the following credentials:  -  Full proficiency in reading, writing and oral instructions in English.
