Aon is looking for a Corporate Finance ManagerAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting (select one: Risk, Health, Retirement, Data & Analytics), in Toronto, ON. As a Corporate Finance Manager you will report directly to the Canada Finance leader. Your impact as a Corporate Finance ManagerPrepare, analyze, and report on financial results focusing on key drivers behind the performance.Partner with the business leaders by providing practical insights and trends and help formulate strategies to drive improved financial results.Articulate finance concepts clearly, translate for leader consumption, and communicate effectively.Access information maintained in various financial systems and databases to analyze, prepare and present business analysis to management.Lead all facets of corporate consolidations process, forecasting, annual budget, management reporting, and related activities (i.e., review and/or preparation of journal entries). This role will interact closely with members of the finance team (Canada & Krakow) and controllership to ensure management and financial reporting needs are met.Participate in monthly close process and ensure all close timelines are met and integrity of financial results.Provide analysis to aid in achieving financial objectives, including - budgeting, forecasting, tracking variances, profitability, etc.Continuously look to improve process / efficiency and accuracy.Responsible for oversight on incentive pay-outs.Ensure accounting operations are Audit compliant/SOX and provide guidance and technical support as needed.Lead and contribute to ad hoc projects, as assignedMay include management responsibilities as the role evolves.Key Actions and SkillsResults Driven – Must be a strategic problem solver with the ability to translate the vision into practical, quantitative plans.
