We call this Smart Working! The Opportunity: This role is responsible for leading the investment operations function (middle office) with day-to-day responsibility for the outsourced unit pricing and reporting functions, operational relationship with the custodian and the implementation of investment changes. Key responsibilities will include:Lead the investment operations functionWork closely with and support the investment team to facilitate investment position monitoring, trading and change activities.Key contact for the investment team, fund operations, and Aon finance as it relates to reporting, data, and questions especially re FUM, indirect fees, investment cashflow etc.Review of APRA and internal client reports related to investment holdings, performance, and fees.A range of product maintenance activities especially in relation to the investment offer to membersSupporting Head of Product and Head of Investments in identifying investment operational platform improvements and efficiencies. About you: This position will suit someone with excellent communications at all stakeholder levels. Suitable people will also have:Investment or Accounting discipline qualified with at least 5 years’ experience within the superannuation and/or investment management industryCPA or similar qualifications highly regardedProven track record and in-depth knowledge of unit pricing and investment structuresDemonstrates project management proficienciesClear business solutions focus aligned to keen commercial and operational acumenExperience building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders well regardedExposure to broader Superannuation product development and the interaction with member administration (as unit registry) will be highly regarded About Us: We’re a team of authentic and smart individuals passionate about providing outstanding value to our clients and our local communities.
