Job Details:
The Senior Manager of Finance will help drive quality top line growth while ensuring a disciplined approach to resource allocation, cost reduction, investment choices and by bringing a continuous improvement mindset to business operations. Day to day accountabilities include leadership of forecasting, annual planning and reporting across the Hillshire Farm Brands. This role will also provide strategic insight and support on cost productivity, revenue management and other transformative initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop financial plans and strategies to drive profitable and sustainable growth
Lead the annual and long-range strategic plans and monthly forecasting process for business unit
Partner with the cross-functional teams in identifying risk mitigation plans and opportunities for growth
Monitor the performance across key metrics to ensure the business delivers against its financial commitment
Provide support on initiatives to ensure viable go-to-market strategies and long-term business aspirations
Progress holistic revenue management strategies across the Business Unit to enable smart growth tactics to offset commodity inflation
Drive process transformation to reduce the amount of time spent on non-value-added work and increase the time spent on those activities that provide insight and impact to the business
Ensure compliance with external reporting, as well internal policies
Provide leadership and coaching to team of direct reports
Requirements:
Education/Certifications: Undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting
Experience: 7 years with demonstrated progression
Computer Skills: adept at Office systems including Excel; SAP knowledge is also beneficial
Communication Skills: Able to communicate at all levels of the organization
Special Skills: N/A
Supervisory: 2 direct
Travel: Minimal
