Aon is looking for a Senior Compensation ConsultantAs part of Aon’s Rewards Solutions practice, you will help empower results for McLagan clients by delivering consulting & professional services compensation surveys and advisory work. McLagan surveys are the backbone to our industry-specific performance and advisory work. This position offers an opportunity to work as a Senior Compensation Consultant in our Stamford Office with flexibility to work remotely. Our clients include virtually every leading global financial services firm, including alternative and traditional asset managers, accounting firms, insurers, banks and wealth management. Our business model is based on crafting and growing long-term partnerships with our clients. Many of our key client relationships extend back to McLagan’s inception in 1966. More information about Aon Rewards Solutions is available at ****More information about McLagan products is available at ****impact as a Senior Compensation Consultant Job Responsibilities:Researching existing and emerging trends in client businessAnalyzing data related to surveys and client engagementsCompleting sophisticated analyses; writing reportsFielding client questions and deliver solutionsMentoring and providing guidance to more junior staffYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseBusiness Knowledge – Background in Financial Services preferredTechnical Skills – Individual should be capable in Excel / PowerPoint, can build presentations, analyze data and extrapolate results from large data sets. Ability to build a story/narrative around data and information.Communication / Presentation skills – Comfortable with speaking with clients, answer on-the-spot questions, and presents well. Expertly lead day-to-day client questions/requests.Self-Starter / Independence– Entrepreneurial spirit in the sense that are comfortable in an unstructured environment. Manages time/commitments with little oversight. Develops relationships internally to finds answers to questions.Great Teammate – Excels at working within a team, flexible, and diplomatic.Project Management – Not vital, but nice to have.
