Ingredion has a new opportunity for a Finance Manager based out of the Westchester Corporate HQ.The Finance Manager will be responsible for operating as a business partner for the Global Sugar Reduction & Specialty Sweeteners growth platform, with significant cross-functional global interaction. This position will be responsible for gathering and analyzing product costs, margins, profit velocity through key assets, pricing, and return on invested capital. S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to the platform leadership team on key metrics. This function acts as the analytical engine of a $340m platform to provide insights and support to optimize business decision making. Financial modeling, problem solving, prioritizing and attention to detail are critical to being successful in this role.Core Responsibilities:Advanced Excel modeling experience and proficiency, combined with the ability to work with complex data and providing accurate and timely financial recommendations to managementAccessing financial data from multiple sources and subsequently utilizing analytics for strategic and business planning efforts, decision-making, and improvement opportunitiesPartnering with stakeholder teams across multiple business units to develop the necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with operations, managerial, and executive teamsAnalyzing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvementsEvaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecastsOrganizing and analyzing data from all sources, using statistical methods to ensure validity of resultsAnalyzing profit velocity from various plants to contribute to the product health model and SKU Rationalization projectsProvide financial support such as completing cost benefit analysis, DCF models, and other business case feasibility to drive value added decisions surrounding capital investments and asset optimizationsOversee joint venture business performance and financialsAccuracy, timely creation, and dissemination of financial simulationsDevelop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutionsQualified candidates will have:A Bachelors Degree in Finance or AccountingPC proficiency with strong Microsoft suite skills, with exceptional skills in ExcelExperience with SAP BW, SAP Analytics and/or Power BIThe ability to conduct cost/benefit analysisUnderstanding of costing and manufacturing environmentExpertise with business case developmentModeling techniques and methodsExcellent analytical skills and ability to present financial data using detailed reports and chartsAre highly organized and detail orientatedCan work across multiple teams and platformsHave a balanced mix of analytical, technical, and business skillsAre a motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloadHave a proven ability to manage confidentiality without exceptionCan think creatively, highly driven, curious, and self-motivatedHave the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlinesIngredion provides accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
