Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
The Finance Program Portfolio Delivery Manager/ Senior Manager will be responsible for the regular financial reporting deliverables, including monthly production, quarterly financial statement analysis, forecasting and budgeting. A clear financial narrative encompassing detailed production, loss and expense information is critical to enable management to successfully execute on strategy and running of the business. The individual will work across all regions, North America and International, to connect stakeholders and support the business. This role is also responsible for coordinating across functional teams by aligning activities and deliverables across Controllership, Actuarial, Reinsurance and FP&A.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
Develop and enhance production of North America monthly and quarterly narratives through Budget, Forecast and Quarter Close cycles
Coordinate with segment teams to drive consistency
Key North America lead in report standardization workstreams to automate production
Work with various teams throughout the organization to establish quarterly close reports and processes which will assist with analysis.
Expense Management:
Improve and build out North America expense reporting to management team
Drive increased transparency around costs to run each Business Unit and allocation approaches
Support development of improved operating framework for expense management within North America
Lead establishment of expense ratios for inclusion in actuarial pricing models and set governance around permitted deviations
Financial Planning:
Drive North America planning and forecast cycles, aligning deliverables and reporting outputs
Work closely with Analytics lead to strengthen the current Portfolio Management framework by establishing MI and analytics with forward looking metrics and KPIs
Embed the use of common key performance metrics and leverage analytics to provide insight that drives action
Support execution of business strategy in support of North America profitability objectives
Leadership:
Be an active leader in the broader finance team, developing finance talent and assisting in the delivery of overall business goals (to include leading, mentoring and fostering a culture of collaboration)
Locations
Knoxville, TN is highly preferred
Other locations include Nashville-TN, Charlotte-NC, Raleigh-NC, Atlanta-GA
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience in one or a combination of Insurance, Financial Services, and/or Finance & Accounting
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Bachelors degree with a major in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Math, Statistics); advanced degree is a plus
CPA
Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
Strong business and financial acumen and ability to present issues clearly and concisely
Background in financial statement analysis
Experience in forecasting and modelling and extensive knowledge of business performance and metrics
Experience in performing complex analysis of financial and/or regulatory issues
Superior understanding of the financial dynamics of a Property Casualty insurer and the related growth, profitability and risk drivers
Professional Skills

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
