JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for conducting and documenting moderate to complex financial analysis, financial reporting and adhoc finance projects. Involved in other special projects/initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for oversight and performance of varied areas of financial analysis and reporting including one or all of the following: standard monthly management reporting and variance analyses, account reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
Includes review and coordination of financial analysis across different departments and or regions/business lines in support of Finance management.
Conducts other special financial and business studies and other duties as assigned by management. Participates in special projects and prepares presentations for senior management.
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May include limited formal supervisory responsibilities over financial analyst staff and may lead project teams and/or plan staff assignments. Duties may encompass technical guidance and/or training to co- workers as well as policy development and participation in special initiatives (modeling, system implementations, acquisition integrations, other).

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or Economics from four-year college o
r university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience and/or training.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information in written and verbal form to subordinates, customers and supervisors.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired (particularly HFM Consolidation, PeopleSoft Financials and Cognos Planning). Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful. Strong work ethic and adaptable.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
