Are you highly detailed, organized and enjoy working virtually?... We are looking for you! We need a freelancer (contractor) to work on an hourly basis for our accounting firm. We have a team of 15 and need someone with a high knowledge of GAAP accounting, ability to communicate and answer team questions, and can push the team to meet deadlines and expectations. Requirements:
5 years financial accounting experience
2 years management experience
Ability to watch for risk and control issues within the team and client’s processes
Ensure deadlines are met at high quality levels
Preparation of budgets and forecasts where needed
Working knowledge of GAAP, AP, AR, Cash Management, Payroll, Revenue, and Account Reconciliations
Oversee a team of 13 professional accountants to ensure quality, simplicity efficiency, and accuracy
Ability to communicate timely and effectively to a diverse set of team members in a virtual environment
Help with any external audit or compliance requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Highly detail oriented
Advanced Excel knowledge
Ability to work as an individual and in a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Contract
Experience:
Multiple Client environment: 3 years (Preferred)
CPA or Undergraduate accounting degree from an accredited college
Motivated self-starter and HIGHLY detail oriented

Tech Requirements:
Computer system equivalent to i5 or greater
4 GB Ram
Reliable internet access with min 1 Gbps network connection
Microsoft office or equivalent (able to open Office files)
Adobe PDF or equivalent (able to edit PDFs)
