Our client, a extremely well known Non-Profit/ Think tank is looking for a Grants/Budget Analyst for a 6month-1.5 year assignment.

Role:
Develop and/or revised budgets for donor-funded activities according to donor requirement, internal financial policies and projects' specifications
Create/complete the budget proposals including, but not limited to identification of costs for environmental compliance, implementations, and monitoring summary of cost share, cost packet for subcontractors and budget narratives
Coordinates the activities of a variety of financial functions that support the program financial management activities, covering both pre-award and post-award activities for the division.
Prepare and reconciled monthly reports SF-425
Prepared project forecasts (life-of-project) to assist project management and for annual budget purposes
Provide budget support for departments
Coordinates with (Senior) Deputy Director of Program Finance to ensure accuracy and quality.
Drafts and liaises with the Office of Contracts and Grants on prospectuses, proposals, and contracts/grants.
Prepares budget/cost estimates for proposal submission to Federal agencies and private sponsors for projects and core support.
Reviews proposed sponsor agreements to assess potential contractual problems, spending limits, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
Ensures that accepted agreements are in compliance with National Academies’ policies and procedures and requirements are met.
Produce project-specific reports such as donor financial reports, manager reports, and inventory schedules
Produce periodic invoices per contract/donor specifications
Assist/coordinate schedules for special audits, such as with donors or regulatory agencies
Reconciled and prepared quarterly donor reports
