ROLE TITLE: JUNIOR RISK ANALYST
LOCATION: DUBLIN 2 (SUBJECT TO CHANGE) WITH HYBRID WORKING (CURRENTLY WORKING REMOTELY)
THIS ROLE IS BEING OFFERED ON A FULL-TIME, PERMANENT BASIS.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
*Will assist in the production of reports to various Risk governance committees, providing clear and comprehensive documentation in support of risk-related issues. *Will support and contribute to risk analysis carried out by the team or be involved in larger deep dive projects. *Will review daily and monthly risk reports and monitor against limits. *Will be involved in engagement with stakeholders to manage a variety of risk processes. *Challenges existing ways of doing things to improve and develop risk processes. *Can work independently and communicate findings in a concise manner to senior management.
*Actively seeks opportunities to learn from other team members and to grow within the role.

Risk is a second line of defence function that monitors, controls and supports all risk-taking activities across AIB. Within Risk, Financial Risk is responsible for providing assurance to senior management on Market Risk, Funding & Liquidity Risk, Pension & Equity Risk and for validating financial risk measurement and valuation models.

YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU HAVE:
*Relevant third level or postgraduate qualification in a finance or analytical discipline. *Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. *Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to produce and present high quality reports. *An ability to work both independently and collaboratively. *Strong interest in Financial Markets and a knowledge of treasury products, risk measurement, financial markets and market risk concepts. *A focus on growth and improvement combined with a desire to learn, share and contribute.
