Director, Financial Lines We're looking for a Director to join our growing Financial Services & Professions Group (FSPG) team in Singapore. This is a new headcount and will be servicing major clients. What the day will look likeResponsible to drive client retention and lead growth strategies to achieve organisational outcomesChampion all client-related initiatives and ensure the team delivers distinctive client valuesSupervisory responsibilities to lead and coach a team of client-facing brokers, and hold responsibilities over their financial and non-financial performance, including deliveries of client servicing, inclusive of mentoring and formal evaluation processesBuild highly effective team and balance multiple responsibilities and tasks to deliver high quality resultsSupport team members in discovery sessions with clients to identify clients needs, propose appropriate solutions and act as the escalation point for clients; and lead Aon United initiativesSupporting the HOD with pipeline review, budget allocation, implementation of strategies to ensure the profitability of the department, including the reporting, forecasting, tracking and accurate and timely maintenance of systems and data entryTake responsibility to monitor performance & results, identifying and closing New Business, targets and react accordingly to ensure targets are hitNegotiate with clients and underwriters and deliver team goals of growth, profitability & increasing market share, and maintain professional relationship with internal/external stakeholders to build successful long term business relationships at all levels with clients, colleagues and insurersIdentify opportunities that benefit the team’s business results, overall well-being and efficiencyCollaborating with the Regional FSPG team and the broader Aon colleagues & stakeholders to identify and implement planning, strategy & execution for growthSupporting the functional pillars: Sales & Marketing, Account Management, or Operational ManagementAssume duties assigned from time to time by reporting managerSkills and experience that will lead to successDegree in any relevant disciplineAt least 10 years relevant working experience preferably in the insurance industryProficient in microsoft office applications (word, excel, powerpoint)Good communication and presentation skilllsAbility to work with others under pressure and to resolve conflict in a constructive mannerability to work with others under pressure and to resolve conflict in a constructive man How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
