Senior Finance Analyst Aon is in the business of better decisions  At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.   As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.  What the day will look likeTo act as a key member of the Controllership team and be responsible for the monthly financial closing procedures in Hong Kong with respect to:Recurring and ad hoc journal processing;Trintech reconciliation preparation; andProcess improvement to drive standardization and simplificationTo clearly document the monthly financial close activities, including the key controls, preparers and reviews involvedTo ensure financial activities are aligned to the Aon standard operating practices and where process gaps are identified, make proposals to the Controllership Manager and agree follow up actionsTo support the standardization and simplification of the preparation of annual financial statements and Tax Returns of Aon businesses in Hong Kong Skills and experience that will lead to successGraduate with Accounting/ Business or related degreeAt least 4 years of related work experience and preferably in insurance industryProfessional qualification ie HKICPA/ ACCA and other related qualifications will be consideredAttention to detail and inquisitive mindsetPrepared to seek resolution to queries and issues and is comfortable working across disciplines and to tight deadlinesGood communication skillGood command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably Cantonese) How we support our colleagues  In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
