Senior Mergers & Acquisition Project Manager Role (Director) We are currently looking to hire a senior Project Manager into our New York Mergers & Acquisitions insurance diligence team. As part of an industry-leading team, you will advise our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our M&A and Transaction Solutions business group. As a Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Project Manager, you will report to a Managing Director that co-runs the New York due diligence team.   Job ResponsibilitiesLead property & casualty insurance due diligence projects Work directly with private equity or corporate clients as well as their other outside advisors which typically include accounting, legal and environmental expertsCoordinate with internal resources to develop findings including brokerage teams, actuarial experts, surety experts, Reps and Warranties brokers, originators and other M&A team membersManage and execute client deliverables including interim email updates, phone conversations and a final reportAnalyze and provide technical input on insurance coverage, claims history, insurance-related collateral, surety bonds and insurance sections of the draft purchase agreementCollaborate with originators in establishing relationships, converting due diligence targets to ongoing clients and helping to develop opportunitiesProvide ongoing relationship management oversight to private equity clientsPrepare proposals and make presentations to clientsBe viewed as a thought leader (creative thinking and innovation); proven credibility (knowledge/ trust) both externally and internallyWrite due diligence reports, white papers, presentations, newsletters, etc.Communicate and capture the value that Aon brings even to the most challenging situationsRequired Experience/ SkillsetsAbility to work on multiple projects at one timeAbility to work independently and/or in working groups to complete projectsExperience in collaborating and training fellow project managersProject management – coordinate activities and information flow from a group of people within specified time framesStrategic and analytical skills – attention to detail while also being able to draw connections in order to provide overall conclusionsCommunication (written and verbal) – ability to communicate well and at the appropriate level with a wide range of individuals Ability to perform under stress / tight time framesAbility to develop relationships / build confidence of others (both internally and externally) based upon work performedFinancial – proficiency in reviewing financial statements and accounting in relation to insurance costsStrong verbal and written communication skillsResults oriented – focus on conversion opportunities (including full and partial)P&C insurance technical proficiency. Broad knowledge of specialty insurance including property, casualty, financial lines and Cyber.
