Responsibilities

Where you Come In

The Manager, Medical/Financial Risk Evaluation identifies, assesses, and mitigates any medical or financial risk that arises from inadequate or failed processes, people, systems, or external events. Maintains a balance between risk mitigation and efficiency. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.

Required Qualifications - What it takes to Succeed


Minimum of 6 years of financial risk experience
Experience reading and interpreting medical claims
Minimum or 3 years of leadership experience with direct reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present to senior leaders
Proficient in MS Office
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree
Claims payment and process experience
Medicaid claims process knowledge

Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office to ensure you have absolute and continuous privacy while you work.

If you are selected for a first round interview, you will receive an email correspondence (please be sure to check your spam or junk folders often to ensure communication isn't missed) inviting you to participate in a Modern Hire interview. In this interview, you will listen to a set of interview questions over your phone or text and you will provide recorded responses to each question. You should anticipate this interview to take about 15 to 30 minutes.
