SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
We are looking for a Director, Cost Accounting and Fixed Assets to join our team. The person in this role will oversee the accounting and accounting operations of inventory, cost accounting, fixed assets and [R&D accounting] functions. A successful individual will have a strategic, “lean in” and results oriented mindset, with the ability to operate big picture and roll up their sleeves to get things done.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a team and driving team performance
Ability to lead and motivate team
Success in people management, including attraction, assessment/hiring, development, and performance management
Lead and manage inventory, cost accounting, fixed assets and [R&D accounting] functions
Build an effective corporate asset management program
Purchase Price Variance, Inventory Revaluation, Inventory Reserves, Supplier Rebates, E&O, and other reserves
Develop an ongoing physical inventory count process
Month end close activities including accruals, account reconciliations, reporting analysis and internal controls
Active involvement in driving business and accounting transformation, process and control improvements for supply chain, service logistics, cost operations, professional services and accounting close
Effective cross functional collaboration including collaboration with external auditors and other third parties
Requirements:
B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA preferred
10-12 years of industry and/or experience in multinational technology hardware and/or subscription service business
Global team management experience
Strategic mindset and critical thinking
Excellent business partnering, communication skills and ability to influence
Experience with NetSuite and SAP
Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
Strong G-Suite and Excel skills
Self-motivated, outcome-based focus, ability to evolve and thrive in a dynamic environment

****The annual base salary range is: $177,000-$283,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
