About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions team in Sydney. This role will have a focus on corporate governance and regulatory investigations, and will include transactional matters for public companies and government entities.
About the team
This team specialises in company and trust acquisitions, disposals, and restructures, equity capital markets, and strategic corporate and securities law advice. We are ranked as Band 1 in all leading industry publications.
The Partner this role reports into practices in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and advises large public companies and governments in M&A transactions and governance issues.
You will have
You will have high-quality experience gained in a similar environment and enjoy working as part of a committed team. You will also have:
technical expertise in corporate governance and transactional matters
strong analytical skills;
broad-ranging drafting experience;
a passion to deliver excellent client service; and
an enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities.
