Profile

Frandsen Bank & Trust is a growing company looking for a full-time BSA Analyst. This individual will work with the BSA Officer to ensure the Bank’s compliance with the applicable aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC and Customer Identification Program regulations (collectively the BSA Program) by monitoring activity for potential money laundering, financial crimes, and/or terrorist financing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply industry programs, polices, procedures, regulations and laws (i.e. FFIEC)

• Display proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Collect and analyze complex data, evaluating information and drawing logical conclusions;

• Effectively communicate the applicability of BSA Program related compliance issues to front line personnel for execution in the day-to-day working

environment;

• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills, and skills in presenting findings and recommendations;

• Research issues and suggest uses of the information to resolve problems;

• Work with confidential information;

• Communicate with colleagues and the BSA Officer regarding issues and findings

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience;

• Minimum 3 years banking experience with knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulatory requirements and/or other program related compliance functions;

General compliance or operational work related to BSA elements to be considered;

• Documented experience in oral and written communications including making presentations and preparing reports, or ability to demonstrate the same;

• Knowledge of management information systems terminology, concepts, and practices.

• Skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines;

• ICBA Certified BSA/Anti-Money Laundering Professional - CBAP designation is highly desired, and if not already attained, will be a requirement within a

reasonable period of time from starting date depending on examination availability/scheduling.
