Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Business Partner will manage the finance business partnering function for one of Global’s key business areas.

In the first few months, you would have

• Built a great working relationship with key business partners and the wider Finance function
• Identified improvements and better ways of working and developed a plan to implement them. 
• Taken ownership of key deal models, implementing improvements.
• Develop a strong understanding of Global’s Commercial function and sales process.
• Embraced Global’s brands, values & behaviours and passion for the business.
   

Responsibilities of the role

• As a key contact between the business and the finance team, you’ll spend significant time building relationships with department heads, providing support to management, identifying new ways to communicate performance and providing financial planning & commercial analytical support
• Ownership of the Commercial deal models for all key specialist deals, as a key business partner for Commercial Director for Outdoor, making sure the economics of the deals are clearly analysed and understood.
• Tracking of budgets and deals to identify trends, run rates and opportunities.
• Constantly challenge how things are done and look for new ways to support the business to achieve excellence in its financial performance.
• Lead and participate in key projects, business reviews and deal appraisals for your area.
• Maintain high levels of financial management and controls to support your business area and the group overall.
• Embrace new technology and the finance system to create robust, accurate and timely management information and use analysis and data to add value to the numbers. Minimise manual processes to free up time to focus on analytical, value enhancing work
• Participate as part of the management team within finance in helping the CFO and FDs setting strategy and objectives.

What you will need

• To have developed business partnering relationships at a senior level within an organisation.
• Significant experience working in a relevant finance role at a senior level. Media, Outdoor or advertising experience an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
• To demonstrate a track record of driving change, improvement and challenge through an organisation or department.
• Qualified accountant with a proven track record of career progression in a large, dynamic organisation.
