Equity Research Associate

Profile

Seeking an Equity Research Associate to join a prestigious Boston asset management firm. This team conducts bottom-up, fundamental equity research across all sectors and countries to identify investment ideas. This firm's Equity Research Associate will work with companies both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling and Excel skills with a passion for research. Position Responsibilities:
Research business fundamentals and competitive positioning
Model company financial statements and future forecasts
Develop global expertise
Research various sectors and develop recommendations
Generate new investment ideas
Write research reports
Converse with company management
Work closely with portfolio management teams
Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 0-2 of experience
Progress towards the MBA and/or CFA a plus
Strong financial statement analysis, Excel, financial modeling skills
Willingness to travel, both domestic and international
Demonstrated interest in conducting in-depth company research
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
