With a transactional background, either in-house or in private practice, you will enjoy working at a fast pace and on multiple matters from the simple to the complex across multiple jurisdictions. With your in-house hat on you will be taking commercial decisions in the best interest of the business to allow the business to thrive whilst minimising risk and ensuring compliance.
This regional team of in-house lawyers are fun, supportive and down-to-earth.
With a solid grasp of general legal principles with 3 PQE you will have developed your expertise in certain legal fields such as corporate finance or company commercial work. Experience in financial services, property, procurement, IT, outsourcing and/or data protection would be helpful.
Key aspects of the role
Deliver proactive, efficient and robust legal advice to a range of stakeholders on a variety of legal topics across multiple businesses and jurisdictions
Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts and other legal documents that minimize risks and maximize legal rights
Think creatively to find solutions which support the success of our business
Provide internal training and help enhance the legal resources available to our stakeholders
Instruct, manage and interact with third parties including external counsel, regulators, public authorities etc., creating relationships of trust
Assist with product development and the integration of new businesses
Proactively evaluate processes and procedures, identifying risks and non-compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
Build and maintain networks internally and externally around the world
Learn about the industries in which we operate and keep abreast of trends and developments
Plan and execute legal support for large projects as well as supporting day to day business activities.
