The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. The Role: The Bell Wireless Finance team is responsible for financial planning and reporting activities and supports both the Wireless and Finance executive teams. The Senior Manager, Product and Logistics, Reporting and Forecasting will be a key member of the Wireless Finance team, and will be reporting directly into the Finance Director. The Bell Finance team is seeking a Senior Manager who has strong analytical, systems, reporting and forecasting skills and is able to work closely with finance and business executives in a challenging role. This includes preparation and presentation of monthly inventory provision and logistics results and KPI versus forecast/prior year to executives, working with the Product Finance team to challenge the business forecast assumptions for reasonableness, preparing various analysis to improve profitability and building end-to-end process flow mapping of our transactions. In addition, when there are new products/initiatives launched, you will be the Finance prime working with the business, IT and Controller teams to ensure our Finance system requirements are identified, tested and implemented in our accounting and management reporting systems. To succeed in this role you will need to be a proactive leader who can partner with the business, systems and finance primes to analyze month end results focusing on business drivers, lead projects to completion in a fast paced environment while at the same time challenging current assumptions to improve our forecasting/reporting model from a speed and accuracy perspective. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the Bell Wireless Forward and Reverse Logistics portfolios including month-end close as well as preparation and review of complex journal entries Lead Management Reporting and Planning activities for Bell's Device Return Option program. This also entails working with our Data & Analytics BI team to identify system data required to build new DRO management reports and KPI information Preparing month end reporting decks and KPI for the various product portfolios and providing insightful financial analysis/commentary as well as identify EBITDA opportunities. Leverage month end reported results in order to work with the business and forecasting primes to improve our driver based forecast models Finance lead for system changes and enhancements impacting Product Revenue and COGS to ensure Finance reporting requirements are met Build end-to-end process flow mapping of Product Revenue/COGS to understand the system and manual journal entries impacting our results and then leverage this knowledge to identify improvements to our forecast models and month end close process. This will be a team effort led by you. Lead a team of three finance managers, develop team talent and motivate them to improve the speed and accuracy of our financial reporting and forecasting process Critical Qualifications/Competencies: CPA designation with strong finance reporting and forecasting skills Strong communication and leadership skills to build relationships at various levels of the organization and the confidence to participate in senior-level discussions Strong system and process mapping skills Methodical thinker with strong analytical skills and ability to lead your team to manage/manipulate large amounts of data in order to identify business driver relationships/trending as well as potential opportunities Ability to create powerful and concise presentations for executives Previous finance experience in a leadership role Able to motivate, coach and delegate to the team to ensure tight deadlines are met Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues Highly motivated and results-oriented Ability to partner with cross-functional operational and finance teams Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
