Duties
Responsible for managing the
firm’s accounting function, preparing the monthly financial reports and
account analyses, managing the treasury functions and coordinating the
annual year-end audit.
Manages a staff of three including
two accounting professionals.
Reports to the Director of Finance
and assists that position with accomplishing goals that are aligned with
overall strategies of the firm.
Key
responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of monthly,
quarterly and annual consolidated and office financial statements, financial
reports, account reconciliation and analyses and overhead allocations.
Ensures accounting and company
policies, procedures and programs are being followed.
Assist with documenting accounting
policies and procedures.
Lead the annual external audit.
Manage the general ledger.
Prepare reports for banks in
compliance with debt covenants.
Manage treasury functions.
Manage fixed asset accounting
system.
Requirements
Requires a minimum of a BS in
Accounting
Minimum of (7-8) years of experience
as an accounting manager in a large professional services partnership.
MBA in Finance and/or CPA
preferred.
Successful candidate will have
excellent managerial, written/verbal communication and technical skills
including Excel
Elite highly desired.
