Description of Responsibilities
This position is responsible for all daily aspects of cash receipts, cash disbursements and payroll, as well as helping with account reconciliation and annual audit preparation. The position will work closely with our Advancement Services Team as they process donor gift receipts. The Assistant Director of Finance is the daily contact with the various departments and programs on the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. campus for which the College Foundation holds and manages philanthropic gifts. This individual should be able to problem solve in a deadline-based atmosphere.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting by time of appointment
Experience with not-for-profit general ledger accounting systems or related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of Blackbauds Financial Edge NXT or similar general ledger accounting systems
Experience processing payroll
Experience processing credit card payments
Experience with financial reporting
Strong analytical thinking, multi-tasking and time management skills
Knowledge of Tableau or similar data analytics programs
