As VP, Investor Relations, you will work closely with CFO and the rest of the executive team to establish and implement a successful investor relations strategy that articulates and supports the company's business objectives to the investment community and other external audiences.
What You Will Be Doing
Act as the key point of contact for the investment community
Effectively craft and communicate the company's strategy and financials to the financial community through earnings calls, investor presentations, non-deal roadshows, and other events
Drive the quarterly earnings results process and prepare content in partnership with the executive team.
Develop and maintain robust understanding of business drivers and metrics; identify/track key themes and topics for investor discussion to inform executives on emerging trends
Lead the IR effort to find, support, and engage with institutional investors by broadening awareness and interest through conferences, presentations, meetings, etc.
Develop investor presentations and act as speaker on behalf of the company as needed at investment conferences, and individual meetings
Collect, analyze and present feedback from investors and research analyst to identify improvement areas and messaging opportunities
Build a strong culture around executive effectiveness: preparation, rehearsal, feedback and concrete suggestions for continual improvement
Own or contribute to other IR related events and deliverables: annual report, proxy materials and shareholder meeting, investor day, company, etc.
Own and manage the IR website section/content
Collaborate with Communications on overall corporate communications strategy around product launches, user conferences, customer-facing issues etc.
Here's What You Will Need To Know/have
BA/BS degree required. Advance degree in business related discipline preferred
A minimum 8 - 10 years of experience, preferably in investor relations, research, or corporate finance, and demonstrated extensive experience and expertise in financial modeling, analysis and research. Prior corporate IR experience required.
Outstanding written, verbal and creative communication skills; including the ability to translate insight into content, create presentations, and create overall communication plans.
Self-starter capable of working independently with superior attention to detail and judgement.
Demonstrated ability to develop and build relationships strong relationships within the investor and analyst communities, preferably within SaaS, technology or related disciplines.
An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets, with established relationships and a strong reputation in them.
A clear understanding of the financial modeling techniques used by security analysts to project a company's operating and financial performance and the resulting value for its stock
Excellent communication skills, including strong writing and the ability to craft investor communications, presentations, and responses
Self-motivated problem solver who can work well under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong ability to communicate financial performance as well as company strategy and technology
Strategic thinker who can turn data into insights and tell a compelling story
Ability to engage with and influence executive level
Consistently operate with high integrity
Analytical thinker with attention to detail
Strong project management skills with ability to balance between competing priorities and be flexible and creative
You have expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
