A great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead our busy Finance Team.
We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager who will be responsible for managing the finance functions within the firm.  Leading a team of 3, the role is both dynamic and hands-on.
To be considered for this role must be technically proficient in the preparation of financial reports with a knowledge of cash flow management and analysis, payroll, management reporting, budgeting, accounts receivable and payable, FBT and BAS preparation.
Reporting to and under the direction of the Executive Committee you will be responsible for:
Managing and supervising the Finance team
Management reporting
Payroll
Trust compliance and controlled money accounts
General ledger maintenance and processing
Bank and other reconciliations
GL analysis and reporting on variance to budget
FBT and Payroll Tax
Quarterly BAS
Assisting in annual budget preparation and daily cashflow management
Annual statutory returns and reconciliations including annual Trust Audit
Process improvements and other ad hoc duties as directed
The successful candidate must have relevant tertiary qualification with a major study in Accounting and be qualified CPA or equivalent.  A positive attitude, exceptional time management skills incorporating attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.  A team player with strong interpersonal skills are a must.  Prior experience with Microsoft suite packages, with advanced Excel skills are required.  A knowledge of Affinity Practice management system would be highly regarded but not essential.
