$80,000-$120,000 annual base salary – Exempt status
BONUS: Eligible – performance based

Key Responsibilities
Assist in determining pre-settlement loan eligibility based client’s expected settlement from divorce proceedings
Receive, organize and maintain case files
Review case files, including personal and business financial statements, tax returns, property records, jewelry appraisals, cash assets, etc., in order to determine and/or validate an individual's net worth value and prepare an accurate loan memorandum
Analyze information and write a concise recommendation for credit worthiness to be presented to the Credit Committee for determining loan issuance
Assist with quarterly reviews of issued loans to ensure cases are progressing as anticipated
Perform tasks for ad hoc legal projects as needed
Required Skills
12 years of matrimonial paralegal experience or 5 years at the Associate level (Post Admission Experience)
Underwriting and/or credit analysis experience a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience reading personal and business financial statements, tax returns, property records, jewelry appraisals, cash assets, etc., in order to determine and/or validate an individual's net worth value
Someone with a desire to handle routine, predictable day-to-day responsibilities
Must be technologically savvy
Bachelor/MBA degree a huge plus
Associate level requires a J.D. and NYS Bar Admission in good standing
