We are looking for a proactive & technology-oriented Financial Accountant for our newly established factory in Seremban, Sendayan Techvalley for underground loading & hauling equipment. Do we share the same mission?
In this position you are primarily responsible for the completion of GL accounting & reporting, including preparation of general ledger reconciliations, month end reporting, internal control implementation and assistance with regulatory returns as required. Primary focus working areas:
Monthly Management Reporting on Factory Performance using Business Intelligence Tools
Develop factory related KPIs automated into Power BI based on request by management
You have an advanced knowledge of Excel and usage of Power BI Data Visualisation, Reporting & Analytics
Participating in implementation and understanding of SAP Demand 2 Produce Module
Optimising the use of SAP in production and warehouse environment
Detail Factory and Production Forecasting, understanding of BOM and cost drives for production
Developing models for Activity Based Costing based on relevant cost drivers in the factory
Full understanding of the production flow processes and how it contributes to the bottom line
Assisting Logistics team in monthly LMW reporting requirements
Managing, reviewing, and critiquing of all factories fixed assets and inventory optimisation processes
Internal Control key contributor – assisting in implementation of Internal Control System within the entity especially around production controls
Cross functional work with support job rotation to ensure the department will be able to function in absence of any one staff
Identify continuous improvement activities and advise management of bottlenecks
Other ad-hoc task when required

As a person you are analytical, governance focused, technology oriented with excellent attention to detail
You can prioritise your work to meet key deliverables and are a team player who enjoys working collaboratively
You are used to work with MS Excel and Power BI, can work under pressure and meet deadlines
You have a qualification in Finance/Accounting with an Accounting Certification (MIA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) or Data Scientist relevant qualification and several years of experience in a large corporate environment
