Job Purpose
The candidate will lead the branch's efforts to pro-actively meet the client's financial needs through our sales process which focuses on a client centric, consultative sales approach whereby we work to uncover, identify and deliver products and services to satisfy the client's financial needs and exceed their expectations. These offerings will include our deposit and loan product lines, internet-banking and bill-pay as well as well our partner products and services such as investment offerings, insurance offerings, mortgages, etc.
Job Duties
Will be responsible for employee and business development.
Must be able to energize these development processes by conducting regular sales meetings and well structured coaching sessions to provide balanced feedback with actionable items that ensure individual and branch success.
With the assistance of the regional manager, the branch manager will set goals, monitor branch progress and make necessary adjustments to achieve exceptional results.
Responsible for managing the day-to-day branch activities; developing, retaining and recruiting high quality staff; building on and maintaining world class service levels.
Will be responsible for leading branch initiating and building external business and community relationships; managing Community Re-Investment Act strategies.
Will be responsible for monitoring and working branch delinquency in conjunction with our collection group; CSR error and outage control.
Will be responsible for the support and leadership of SRs in servicing clients and building a business focused on steady growth and consistent profit improvement.
Will perform special projects as assigned.
Education, Experience and Job Skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the financial services industry.
1-3 years experience in a manager role.
Must be an
energetic, enthusiastic team player.
Excellent communication, problem solving, customer service, cross selling and lending skills.
Must be a decision-maker with well-developed interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively in dealing with clients, employees and the community.
Must possess strong leadership skills, great organizational skills and the ability to motivate and develop the branch team.
The candidate will also have the aptitude and willingness to test and obtain (after an appropriate amount of time to study and at our expense) series 6/63/life licensing so that they can provide those services to the right customer base.
Must be able to travel to attend internal education and meetings which in some circumstances could include overnight stay. Travel also required to fill in at other branches as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption documentation.
High School Diploma or GED; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Trustworthy and confidential behavior is essential in this role.
Valid Driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Must be able to travel to attend internal education and meetings which in some circumstances could include overnight stay. Travel also required to fill in at other branches as needed.
