Guild is hiring an Implementation Delivery Director to support the onboarding of new Fortune 500 partners into the Guild marketplace as well as expanding Guild's relationship with our existing Employer Partners. As an Implementation Director on Guild's Marketplace Enablement team, you will support new employer partner implementations by leading significant work streams, developing and exercising end-to-end understanding of Guild's systems, processes, technology, and student-facing teams. This work will result in setting the foundation for long-term growth and a successful relationship between Guild and our Employer Partners. You will work closely with numerous, cross-functional team members from Product Management, Student Services, Payments, Analytics, and Engineering, and others. Additionally, as a Director on the Marketplace Enablement team, you'll be looked to in establishing team culture, tools, processes, and building a firm experience base to then independently lead select client implementation and expansion work.

As an Implementation Delivery Director you will:
Own business critical, high visibility implementation workstreams for new employer partner launches
Act as the overall implementation lead for existing employer expansions, representing downstream functional teams like Product, Student Experience, and Payment Operations
Own the translation of major implementation requirements and execution of implementation workstreams; coordinating workstream teams so that activities are completed on time and the overall implementation is successful
Identify and support key process improvement projects that benefit Guild's internal and external collaborators, including conducting robust organizational change planning with documentation, communications, etc.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and create development opportunities for more junior project team members
Depending on experience, there may be an optional opportunity to manage team members directly
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
8 years of relevant work experience; 4 leading or supporting B2B/B2B2C implementations that require extensive cross-functional collaboration
Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science, economics, finance, marketing, or business required; MBA or technical graduate degree is a plus
Exposure to and understanding of the challenges faced by both technical and go-to-market functions when selling to Fortune 500 enterprises
Experience managing complex workstreams in cross-functional environments where long-term relationships were essential for success
The ability to develop strong relationships, inspire confidence, and communicate effectively
An interest in connecting the dots and identifying trends, with truly exceptional ability synthesize complex information for a broad set of team members and deliver strong story-telling
Strong organization and project management skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to keep track of both the high level progress and the small details
A bias toward structured, analytical, systems and process-oriented thinking; able to simplify and present sophisticated problems and issues in an easy-to-understand manner
A motivation to help build team culture, giving and receiving feedback, and supporting the development of team members
