POSITION FEATURES:This position is 100% Remote in US.PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The Global Finance Governance (GFG) team implements, monitors, and improves finance processes according to the group accounting guidelines, including the operational controlling requirements to provide the correct data for FP&A, reviewing risks and improving internal controls for compliance, to implement and harmonize finance operations processes.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure finance process excellence at a global level, implementing and improving processes and IT Tools and systems for a better transparency, increase efficiency and ensure correctness of financial data groupwide.Optimization and correctness of processes, procedures, and operative guidelines worldwide.Collaboration in the creation of global templates to be rolled out in the organization (Shared Service Centers and global, regional, or local organizations).Monitoring the implementation of Finance tools such as business processes, procedures, guidelines, training courses, IT tools on a global level.Monitoring and implementation of appropriate measures when there is a need for improvement, which has been determined, for example, by internal audits or audits.Regularly performed tasks that significantly determine the function.Support in the analysis of current finance requirements/standards and creation of documentation to bring corporate guidelines to an operational level.supporting regions and countries offering trainings and consultancy to ensure correctness in the Statutory Reporting. Creation of training materials.Support in the analysis of existing Finance information / methods worldwide and initiation of necessary adjustments in the local organization or regions.Supporting in projects within the GFG, GBS or Corporate organizationAnalysis of current finance processes to design and improve them.Identification and support of best practices as well as transfer into the organization.Other duties as assigned.Support of user trainingCreation of training materials or other requested documentationClose coordination and cooperation CoEs, GBS and DTI organizations.Close coordination and cooperation with regions and local organizations.Participation in projects related GFG or GBS (Global Finance Projects) Additional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations.  See applicable addendum for department or location specific functions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Frequent (34-66% of the day)- sitting, standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, flexing/extension of wrist use, grasping and fine manipulation, talking and hearing.Occasionally (11-33% of the day)-bending, climbing, kneeling, reaching at or above shoulders.Infrequent (1-11% of the day) - crawling or crouching.Must be able to lift up and pull/push up to 25 pounds.SUPERVISION:May be responsible for the direct supervision of various levels of finance staff. EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:6-8 years' related experience.3+ years' supervisory or project/program management experience preferred.Ability to work with minimal supervision and maximum accountability.Exceptional knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and their preparation, payroll reporting and systems.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Excellent mathematical and problem solving skills.Outstanding organizational and planning skills.Excellent project and time management skills.Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.Expert in the tools implemented for the different Standards, as for example IFRS 15 or IFRS 16EO/AA Employer: Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentityFresenius Medical Care North America maintains a drug-free workplace in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.,identifier:R0097221,industry:Headquarters,title:Manager, Global Finance Governance,url:****
