Sandvik
is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to serve as a key member of our US Treasury team within our Sandvik Holding company. The successful candidate will provide direct support to the Treasury Manager and focus on the cash management needs of the Sandvik entities within the US. The Senior Treasury Analyst will conduct analysis of cash pool usage and overdrafts, corporate credit card usage and delinquencies and offer proposals for continual improvement.
The Role:
Work as a liaison between banking relationships and Sandvik U.S. entities
Evaluate and prepare daily cash funding requirements for U.S. entities and report to the U.S. Treasury Manager and Sandvik Group Treasury
Assess the U.S. cash position and monitor cash pool balances and examine excess cash in external bank accounts and coordinate with U.S. entities to direct to U.S. cash pool accounts
Manage and instruct all U.S. entities on the manual wire process in the banking system and act as one of the final approvers
Perform monthly analysis of bank fees for accuracy and identify cost saving opportunities and of interest statements.
Maintain/update authorized signatories on U.S. cash pool accounts; perform quarterly audit of authorized signatories
Act as one of the system administrators for the banking system for U.S. cash pool accounts; add/update/maintain user entitles in banking system; perform quarterly audit of users in banking system
Monitor U.S. cash pool overdraft (credit) limits, report findings to Treasury Manager, and request updates from Sandvik Group Treasury when necessary
Establish, document, and maintain standard operating procedures
Perform quarterly treasury internal control audits as Control Reviewer
Develop expertise surrounding best practices for cash management
Explore best practices in internal controls and cybersecurity and implement enhancements
Establish and support process improvements
Lead integration of new acquisitions or existing business areas into the Sandvik Treasury function
Lead ad hoc projects assigned by the Treasury Manager
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
4-5+ years of related treasury/cash management work experience
Must possess a deep understanding of treasury cash management and trade finance.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to cultivate effective interactions with global banking relationships as well as foster development of your internal Sandvik network at all levels of our organization.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple/competing tasks effectively
Organizational skills and high attention to detail and accuracy
Must be legally eligible to work within the US.
Domestic and international travel will be required at times.
