RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for developing cost strategies and pricing large scale, strategic bid opportunities, as well as supporting existing programs and capture efforts.
Present price proposals to executive leadership
Lead strategic pricing efforts
Assume ownership of the price model, price volume and other pricing deliverables for assigned bids
Determine optimal price points for bid and conduct price-to-win analysis
Assess competitor bid position and price strategy
Coordinate directly with prime, subcontractor or other teammates in support of bid efforts
Provide financial and analytical analysis for capture rate and profitability
Utilize and enhance internal price models
Remain current on pricing trends and Government regulations
Present cost/price strategies to senior leadership
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field
Master's Degree preferred
A minimum of ten (10) years of government pricing, contracting or corporate finance experience
Exposure to DOD, DOE, DHS and DOS contract bids
Experience managing a team
Advanced skills in MS Excel, proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational, project management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Active security clearance is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
