As the Retail Bank Tech (RBT) Workforce Leader you will be responsible for leading the labor team and partnering across (RBT) to help support the labor force through a well-managed hiring process. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing labor goals, in partnership with Enterprise Recruiting and Capital One hiring programs. The candidate will be a problem solver, with critical thinking ability and exceptional written and verbal skills. The candidate must be a natural collaborator and a strong influencer, working across the entire RBT organization to manage and execute the labor strategy.
Leading the Labor Team for RBT, the candidate will be responsible for the facilitation of department labor forecasting, program management, analytical storytelling, and general education on recruiting priorities
Responsibilities
Establish and uphold Labor team processes for all hiring, associates and contractors, as well as our campus programming
Actively partner with Recruiting to align solutions with program objectives within the RBT culture
Apply facilitation and dependency management techniques to drive cross-tower hiring solutions
Frame and and prioritize hiring plans in line with our Capital One hiring policies and processes
Leads special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams
Prioritize and focus leaders in a number of key areas (labor strategy, budget etc).
Partner with the Finance Team and Chief of Staff team in strategic planning, uncovering critical efficiencies and preventing duplication of effort and create forecasts, outlooks, and general financial oversight
Develop relationships within direct and extended team members to be able to act as an informed and helpful sounding board and thought partner.
Partner across the line of business to drive efforts to completion, which align to organizational Goals and OKRs focused on labor
Partner and develop relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure constant agreement on progress against shared goals.
Own timely delivery of monthly and quarterly deliverables related to leadership requirements.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Demonstrate strong communications proficiency, including across teams and organizations, and have experience utilizing oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills.
Have the ability to multitask with simultaneous projects and tasks, while demonstrating urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion.
Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to be goal/execution-oriented
Be able to react seamlessly to change in priorities and delivery focus
Execute a strategic approach to all things especially process and operations
A source of positive energy, inspiration and motivation for the organization.
Focus on data, to drive our progress, eliminating biases from conversations and plans.
Able to dive deep and demonstrate excellent attention to details, curious to ask precise questions.
Action oriented, always leaning in and moving with a sense of urgency. Results-oriented and able to get things done.
An effective communicator, able to develop a strategic narrative and comfortable with storytelling across all levels of the organization.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years as a Process or Project manager
At least 3 years of people management experience
At least 3 years experience writing Executive level communications and presentations
Preferred Qualifications
7 years of project management experience
7 years of experience in project delivery
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certification
5 years of experience managing programs
