Position Overview & Purpose:Fresenius Medical Care, a $19 billion company and the largest kidney care company in the world, is seeking a Manager SEC Reporting (m/f/d) to join our Corporate Controlling & Corporate Accounting Team in Germany (Frankfurt metropolitan area).  The Manager SEC Reporting (m/f/d) will provide support in preparation and filing of the quarterly and year-end financial statements with the SEC as well as maintenance of the internal reporting tool, Wdesk, for various SEC and non-SEC related internal and external reports. Further, the Manager SEC Reporting will be working closely with the following departments: Legal department (Germany and US), Treasury, Investor Relations and Tax.Tasks and Activities:Assists in preparation and filing of the quarterly and year-end financial statements with the SEC, including XBRL reportingMaintenance of the internal reporting tool, Wdesk, for various SEC and non-SEC related internal and external reportsFollow-up on new accounting pronouncements and their impact on the companyPreparation of prospectus(es) for the issuance of bonds or notesPreparation of Management and Directors’ reports for Luxembourg reporting requirementsPreparation of Conflict Minerals Reporting to the SECResolution of SEC comment lettersSEC-specific and other disclosure related research projectsDesired Profile & Qualifications:BSc degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification or corresponding professional experienceEarly career, preferably in audit or an SEC financial reporting roleSpecialized knowledge in IFRS and SEC reporting requirements, including conflict minerals reporting and XBRL (helpful)Strong communication, writing and presentation skills and able to communicate effectively with senior leadershipOrganized with an attention to detailSelf-motivated and comfortable with independent problem solvingHands-on mentality with the ability and desire to learnNative-level fluency in the English language (spoken and written) is required.
