What You Will Do:
The
Senior Contract Analyst
is responsible for Contract Management (post sourcing), ongoing maintenance, notification of contract milestones, and end of term notifications. Under general supervision from Sr. Manager Data Integrity, the Senior Contract Analyst will be responsible for submission acceptance in contract repository and comparative analysis. The Senior Contract Analyst will be working with UMMS Contract Managers. The Senior Contract Analyst role requires proficient knowledge of the INFOR Contract Management module, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access, the individual in this position is responsible for maintaining the integrity, consistency and availability of decision support tools.
As a
Sr. Contract Analyst
in Supply Chain Operations, responsibilities will also include but not be limited to:
1. Infor Contract Load 2. Milestone Notifications to stakeholders and Management 3. Renewal/Pending Termination notices to Stake holders and Management 4. Report of active contract status to Management
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. These are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.
1. Perform contract review to ensure completeness in accordance with defined Contract Repository Checklist. Notify UMMS Contract Manager, of record, with any and all discrepancies on contract submissions.
2. Will ensure the timely load of contracts into the UMMS Infor Contract Repository and related Infor Item Master, including evidence of contracts, legal documents, compliance documents, cyber security and proper signature. Consistent and supported by Contract Cover Sheet.
3. Perform Quality assurance on submitted contract load including header, contract lines, item master, vendor master
4. Ensure that reported contracting status are current. Design databases, queries and reports to meet the strategic business requirements of UMMS.
5. Responsible for monitoring expiring contract, delivering notification to contract owners and management, maintain deadlines on deliverables
6. Maintain appropriate documentation and approvals on record within Infor Contract Management. Ensure data and information integrity is maintained throughout the contract life cycle by utilizing various control reports.
7. Identify and report non-compliant contracts at the System and local level.
8. Develop reports and dashboards in Tableau to streamline reporting processes.
9. The Sr. Contract Analyst, Supply Operations will engage GPO (Vizient), UMMS Vendor Management, UMMS CQVA, UMMS Contract Management, owners of record at System and local level on required notifications and timely actions.
10. Generate contract compliance metrics and participate with UMMS Corporate contract, Clinical Quality Value Analysis, and the facilities in the management of compliance.
11. Communicate contract renewals to other functional teams within UMMS. Coordinate the rollout of agreements with the Corporate Contract Management Team and Vendors. Develop and present the reports necessary for a successful contract implementation.
12. Communicate contract requirements and detail to management of UMMS Legacy contract repositories (HEMM, Meditech, Aperek, Cobblestone).
13. Conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity, analyze multiple data sources, identify issues and report to Management.
14. Conduct ad hoc data mining for Corporate Supply Chain Management and/or other customers.

What You Need to Be Successful:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
2. Five years of experience providing financial analysis, benchmarking and decision support systems. Experience in purchasing or supply chain management preferred.
3. Experience and knowledge of current financial and non-financial measures utilized in the healthcare industry preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Must have working knowledge of the operational component of financial measures and financial performance and analysis in a complex organization.
2. Knowledge of Decision Support, Statistical Analysis, Business Software Applications (Excel, Access, etc.)
3. Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Power Point and Tableau.
4. Knowledge of medical products, benchmarking and Infor system Contract Management Module.
5. Knowledge of Financial Reporting, ability to disseminate data to customers.
6. Must have ability to commit to Continuous Improvement philosophy; support a customer service environment and demonstrate team oriented focus.
7. Must have excellent Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking skills.
8. Must demonstrate flexibility.
Working Conditions
1. Weekend, shift work, holiday, on-call, and may be require work beyond normal tour of duty to complete projects, meet deadlines, or respond to emergencies.
2. Work is performed in various environments within UMMS. These environments include, but are not limited to the following: a standard office environment, Data Center/closets environment, or Healthcare environment.
3. Periodic traveling out of town with overnight stays to obtain required training, education, or certification may be required.
4. Work may include regular travel to and from the various affiliated institutions within the Medical System.
5. Work may be required in a Healthcare facility which the observance of Universal Precautions is mandated. Universal Precautions involves the wearing of protective clothing/equipment and the observance of safe work practice.
6. Work is high demand and fast paced.
